Vacation Trip

Saturday, August 29, 2009

I am leaving today and will be on vacation at my daughter's for the birth of my grandbabies. I will be having a hard time staying on track; due to the fact I will be at the hospital with her for 4 days then at her house the rest of the time. I am going to do my best to check in as often as I can and to st on track. Good Luck to everyone else this next 2 weeks I will post pictures of the beautiful twins when I return. Happy Healthy eating and exercising to everyone.
The picture is of my beautiful daughter Crystal and me at her baby shower; she thinks she is soo big LOL she is just beautiful with babies.
talk to you all on my return

Enjoy the babies and being their grandmother. It is such a special time. I found that just being in a different house made a difference in how much I ate. Familiar food, the fact that it wasn't my kitchen, etc made it more difficult to munch.

It takes about 6 months after a baby before a mother feels like she can do things again besides care for the child. It takes twice as long with twins. It is going to be a long year and although you aren't close (but I expect you wish you were) it will be great fun to keep track. Plan another trip in January so you can play with the babies and get to know them again.

    Hi Brenda,
Go and enjoy yourself, and enjoy those babies. My daughter had 2 sets of twins. I was with her for almost 3 yrs., cause she couldn't handle it. The first set was born on 9-11 and the second set was born Nov. 21, 2002. She had her hands full and still does. Enjoy them while you can cause they grow up so fast.
Don't worry about losing weight, I have always lost weight when I had to be at the hospital, lost 4 lbs in 3 days when my husband was in there.
So just enjoy yourself, cause this is an amazing time, something you'll never forget. emoticon emoticon
