Too much pizza

So last night my son and his family came over like they do every Friday, and we ordered in pizza like we do every Friday, and I ate 3 pieces unlike the 2 I usually eat every Friday. I was so hungry, I just couldn't stop at 2.
But it didn't taste that good even. It's weird how your taste buds and stomach adapt to your diet. Anyway, I had gained a pound this morning due to the excess pizza but I've only eaten 1100 calories today and I know I will lose again. It's just an observation.
Tracking my food though has been an ah-hah experience. I always knew that I loved carbohydrates, but I didn't realize how much. I'm always below SP's guidelines when it comes to fat (I really don't eat much fat), I'm often below on calories and protein, but I'm never below on carbohydrates. That's probably one of the reasons why I have very triglycerides (although a lot of that is genetics).
All of my favorite foods are carbohydrate--pasta, cookies, chocolate, etc. The crust is my favorite part of the pizza even lol.
I'm really not sure how to cut out carbs. It seems like there would be nothing left to eat. But I really should try to control my carb intake and see if that makes a difference in how I feel and how I look. I did try the Atkins and Body for Life (both of which include a lot of protein) and I couldn't do either for more than a couple of days. I really couldn't eat that much food, especially the proteins. It's weird how everyone's different.
Anyway, I am losing weight. I am now at the weight I usually start dieting at. But that also means I only have 12 lbs to be at my Weight Watchers goal weight. I can do this if I try.
