Life doesn't slow down

Friday, September 04, 2009

You think things are going well and you are getting back on track. Boom life happens.

This happens to me so often. I have to say the reasons this time are not all bad. I have decided that I am trying to do the impossible concerning the exercise. I am going to simplify my goal to 30 minutes a day no matter what the exercise. Any exercise is better than none.

Now I am going to turn the wheel a little bit. I wanted to share with my Sparkfriends that I am officially engaged. My boyfriend and I have been together in November in 3 years. I knew he was the one last week when I was in the er. He never slept unless I slept and he took care of me and my boys the whole day after we returned home. Now you may say this is not a big deal, my ex would fall asleep even when I was in labor with his son and wasn't very affectionate so this is a big deal for me.

No life doesn't slow down, I have to learn to roll with the punches and get that exercise in. Happy Friday Spark Friends.

Oh, Leah, I rejoice for you! I know, know, KNOW what a second chance at happiness means. One day we'll have to share the blessings of God in restoring life for us after destructive exes. It is a story I know all too well. I'm here to tell you that life is very, VERY different and very, VERY sweet the second time around. I wish you and your fiance every happiness and I wish we, your SparkSisters, could be there to share this happy day with you and throw you a bridal shower!!

Hey Giggles, that's great! You have found a coassionate and caring man! Way to go! I wish you all the success in the world for the two of you.

As for 30 minutes a day of exercise, is a great goal to strive for. If you don't get it done, don't beat yourself up over it. It will eventually happen. All thing happen over time. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other.

    Take care and be blessed!

Congratulations, I'm so happy for you!

I think your goal of 30 minutes of any exercise a day is a great one. The simpler the better. I'm aiming for 300 fitness minutes, didn't make it this week but am going to try, try again next week.

    Again, CONGRATS!!
