Are Fiber Supplements A Good Thing To Take?

In it you find out that Fiber supplements are good for you, but a balanced diet with fruits and vegetables is far better for you then these supplements.

    Ok.. fiber supplement.. I'm actually taking this now :

    daily (once in the morning) and it really helped a lot for cleansing my system. This is unlike the metamucyl and similar and it really taste like blended vegetables in a glass. Honestly, it taste very gross (in the beginning, I drank it while holding my nose but later, I squeeze 1/2 a lemon and I can drink it straight ever since).

    After taking this for a month straight, my sensitivity toward Caffeine stuff (coffee or tea) are definitely increased. Used to be, I could drink coffee anytime and still able to sleep. Now I can't. Someone told me that it's gotta be that my system is getting better and can absorb things more efficiently. I'm not too surprised to hear that as I know that these fibers I been taking is meant to cleanse my system and dragging the impurities out. Made sense to me in a way...

    It's not I'm against eating vegetables and fruits coz I still do when I got the time.. I'm just super lazy to chew all these down and very time consuming! So for a busy person like me, these fiber drinks are like Godsent and I completely stand by it. 1 minute vs. 30 minute to prepare and consumed, I'd say fiber drink is awesome.

    I think it's better to get fiber from your food, but sometimes it's hard to get it all in. I use Gnu bars and Trader Joe's Fiberful bars to help, especially when I'm traveling and can't eat right.

    I get about 50-60 grams of fiber a day from my fruits and vegetables and whole grains. I understand fiber supplements but i think they are more harsh on the body.

    i agree it is better to get your fibre from your food.i love fruit and veg and do not take a suppliment.but for people how don't like them it would help emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon enjoy emoticon
