Slow but sure wins the race
Saturday, September 05, 2009
So I'm at my lowest weight in at least a year but I'm still 10 lbs above what I weighed 2 years ago. I was hoping to lose much faster than this but I'm hoping that slow but sure wins the race.
I have friends who are pushing me to use the human growth hormone diet which is so big right now. They have all lost much more weight than I have in a shorter amount of time. They also swear that it re=sets your set point in weight. That would be awesome if it were true, but I'm still not sold on the concept yet. I think I'll keep plugging along and hopefully lose weight without gimmicks.
I hope I can lose another 6 lbs in September to go along with the 6 lbs I lost in August. I would like to look good when my family comes to visit at the beginning of October, but we'll see. At least it gives me something to work towards.
Today, I at a little more than usual since I had family here, but I still stayed within my range, just at the high end of the range. Usually, I'm slightly below my suggested calories, but I know that if I do that everyday, my metabolism will slow way down.
Thanks SP for the support
