Students, evalutions, and air conditioners

Well, after 2 days with no air conditioner in my car, after spending around $5,000 to get it fixed twice, my husband fixed it himself. With a cheap fuse no less. I hate to think that we could have saved ourselves all that money if he'd known about this earlier.

Today was rewarding day at school. I just love my sophomore classes. They're so receptive and love to learn. It's fun. I get a natural high from being on stage and connecting with them. They love to share their opinions and they even raise their hands and take turns making comments. Then, right in the middle of a great discussion, my Vice Principal walked in unannounced to do a quick evaluation. The kids made me look good. It was awesome.

Despite being good on my diet, I've been stuck at the same weight for over a week. Even down to the same .10 lb. How can that be? I've been dieting (and not cheating) for over 6 weeks and I've only lost around 6 lbs. That makes me mad. But I guess if I hadn't done this, the 6 weeks would still have gone by and I would be still too fat for my clothes. So, I guess I'll take it. I'm glad I get to vent on here though. It really helps me keep my attitude more positive elsewhere lol
