This is what I'm going to do.

I have decided to continue to count my calories, but I'm going to have a treat if I want one so that I don't go overboard from cravings or just because it's the weekend and I've given permission to slack off.

I'm going to watch my calories all week long, including the weekends, eat a treat if I want to, start walking again after dinner, and I'm adding cleaning the house for a half hour every day. We'll see how this works.

I think that this wil make me more successful at weight loss.

    You have a good plan and if you stick to it and make it an occasional treat, that you track on the tracker, you will be fine. Remember this is a lifestyle change and not a diet. On a lifestyle change when your birthday, as an example, comes around have a small piece of cake and a little ice cream.

    Can I offer you a word of caution? An occasional treat is great, but they take a lot of self-control. I tried it a couple months ago, adding in treats and counting the calories. Then I simply rounded off calories and estimated without tracking them. And then I stopped doing that and I stopped losing weight. And that's why I joined SP. It's a slippery slope, so tread carefully. Keep adding them into your nutrition tracker and you'll be fine. Good luck!
