Win-Win

Saturday, September 12, 2009

So, as I wrote last time, tonight was the first football game of the season where I let myself have what I want to eat. As a result, I let myself have my twofavorite items from Taco Bell (a chili cheese burito and nachos supreme with no meat) and a 20 oz bottle of Coke. I enjoyed everything immensely, but what I enjoyed even more was that when I entered everything into my nutrition tracker, I saw that I was within my ranges for everything for today. In fact, I am still too low on calories for the day. I've also met all my goals for water and fuits and veggies. I am pleased with myself that I was careful enough today with the rest of my eating that I was able to meet all my ranges, not starve myself, and enjoy Taco Bell with the game. Now, if OSU can hold on to the lead they just took in the 3rd Quarter, then it will truly be a banner day!

OSU played pretty well, a little too conservative, but still pretty well. If USC's quarterback grew up last night as much as I think he did, they will be playing in the title game this year.

Still, the loss was painful. At least the Taco Bell was good. LOL

Yeah, eating within the range during football season will be tough, lots of temptations to snack during and after the game.

OSU played well and the home town crowd was awesome, but SC just has too many weapons....
