long work days are not good for my exercise program!!

I am still struggling with my exercise .I can find all kinds of excuses not to do it,on the days I do have time to do it. Lately, I have been going into work early 3-4 am,and work 12 hour shifts. Normally, I exercise before work, but on these days I can't, and when I get home, I am too pooped!!When we have enough staff, I can take a walk at lunch, but lately, that has not been happening either.I do feel so much better when I do exercise. I guess I need to push myself harder..

    That's an awful lot of work. I wouldn't worry too much about it until you get some kind of break at work. Try to watch your eating and exercise when you can.

    A long day can make it difficult. On my busy days, I set a goal to do 10 minutes. I usually end up doing more but setting a goal for less minutes gets me started.

    I know what you mean. It is really hard when you're busy!!
    Try to take the time to get a walk in at work. I would think with 12 hour shifts, they owe you a bit of an extra break to try to work that in :)

    Working 12 hour days makes exercising a lot mor difficult. The walk at lunch is a good idea. Adding a short walk when you get honme might do a lot to re-energize you. Hope you get off those long shifts soon.
