Hello, Fellow Sparklers emoticon ,

While Vandal has delusions of thousands of lurkers waiting breathlessly for his blog to appear, I primarily blog for myself. I need to review my day, my emotional state, and my actions of the day to evaluate whether they have brought my closer to my goal or taken me further away.

Today I'm feeling strong and ready. I'm in the groove! I'm back to having the small steps be relatively effortless, which is a great feeling. I have met my goals today: tracked my food, stayed off the scale, drank the water, and of course NO WHINING! (or wining??)

If the weather holds tomorrow, TC and I will walk 7+ miles. Then in the evening we have to work the County Fair. As workers we have our choice of free FAIR FOOD, but I've got my plan in place: before the fair we'll stop for a 12-inch ham Subway sandwich that we'll split, and I'll bring a couple of apples and cheese & crackers for TC.

While I say the number on the scale doesn't count, we ALL know that it does. I'm hoping I get into the 150's by Monday, but It's been so effortless this week I don't feel like I could possibly have done enough to deserve it!

Even if I don't get there, my body is DEFINITELY shrinking and my clothes are looking better. Like Vandal, I can go clothes shopping in the back of my own closet!!! And that's really a lot more important than "the number".

I don't know if I'll have time to blog tomorrow, but if not, know that I'm doing great and staying strong, and I'll touch base with y'all on Sunday!
PS -- I also know I am on a roll this week because on the Spark Wheel of Fortune I've gotten 20 points 3 days in a row!!!

    TG, it is so good to see that you are doing so well! I need the inspiration right now... so thanks! Whatever the number on the scale, nothing will replace the great feeling of knowing you've had a good week! So keep it up and...no wine, eh! emoticon

    What do you mean delusions? You mean I DON'T have thousands reading my blogs?? emoticon emoticon

    Anyway you are in the grove and while it probably isn't instinctive yet you're getting close. Your blog about thinking like a thin person is a perfect example. You didn't just think like a thin person you acted like a thin person. I don't know if we can ever get to the point to where we just do things like that without thinking but if I can get to where you are thinking and then acting on it - I'm okay with that. P would probably be happy if she could just get me to think!!
