Sparkers are Great People!

Wednesday, September 30, 2009

I just wanted to say thanks to all the Sparkpeople out there! A lot of you are ever so kind, compassionate, and caring. Everyday some of you unselfishly give and give of yourselves. I have become sparkfriends with many people on here, some of who I might not ever agree about politics or religion but they don't force me to share there beliefs nor I mine. But when I am down or they need support we are always there for each other. Recently I ran across a sparkperson who was very miserable. They were talking to others in a demeaning way and using profanity. I was not very happy to say the least. I don't think it so much WHAT you say then then it is HOW you say it.

If your new to Spark and you want to post, then you should review www.sparkpeople.com/reso
urce/motivation_articles.a

. There you will find guidelines on what is, or is not appropriate to post. And if you've been around for awhile and you haven't had the chance to check them out then go ahead and give it a quick read. Sparkpeople is a great website with great content. I would like to keep it that way. They are not charging us a dime to take advantage of a great service that can improve your health and way of life.

So stop and think before you post. We are here to come together as a community and support each others goals. Sometimes people are up and sometimes they are down and frustrated. Some people need more cheerleaders then others, but whatever the case. Be Kind! emoticon emoticon
