I have had some setbacks this weekend. i worked a very long day yesterday,and then went to help on a supper last night, and did not get home till late. We were very busy all evening, so ended up nibbling all evening, instead of a healthy meal, plus, I did not get a chance to exercise. Today, I was exhausted,and started out eating well,but someone brought in some delicious cookies that were so nice and gooey that I could not resist. Seems like when I am so tired, I don't have as much willpower. The day went downhill from there, plus i did not exercise. I am off tomorrow, and need to get back on track. I really don't feel good when I get out of control..so why do I do it?????ARGGGGHHHHHH!!!!

    Diane, please don't beat yourself up over this. Two long, full days with short nights always make for lessened willpower (at least for me). I seem to go after the gooey stuff and refined carbs as a quick energy boost. Of course after I've rested I ask myself " WHY?" Hope you got enough rest last night. Perhaps you could carry a better version of the oh so good and bad for you treat on hand so you won't be so tempted.

    I hear you. I had a horrible weekend too. Let's put it behind us and concentrate on this week.
