#101: A Joking Kind of Day

"Mix a little foolishness with your prudence. It's good to be silly at the right moment." Horace

"Laughter is an instant vacation." Milton Berle

Sometimes LIFE becomes too serious and we need something to lift our spirits. Today seems like a joking kind of day. Enjoy.

* * * * *

Three men sat bragging about having given their new wives duties at home.

The first man had told his wife she was to do the dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple of days, but on the third day he came home to a clean house with the dishes washed and put away.

Man number two bragged that he had ordered his wife to do the cleaning, cooking and the dishes. The first day he didn't see any results but the next day it was better. By the third day, the house was clean, food was on the table and the extra dishes were cleaned and put away.

The third man's wife was told to keep the house clean, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry done and hot meals on the table for every meal. He told his buddies that the first day he didn't see any change and the second day he didn't see any improvement, but by the third day some of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little out of his left eye, just enough to fix himself a bite to eat and load the dishwasher before he started the laundry on his way outside to mow the lawn. (D'oh)

I used to think I was indecisive but now I'm not so sure.

* * * * *

I'm in shape. Round is a shape.

* * * * *

Give me ambiguity or give me something else. (Huh?)

* * * * *

Wear short sleeves. Support your right to bare arms.

* * * * *

Would a fly without wings be called a walk?

* * * * *

What is the name of the man in the moon? (What?)

* * * * *

What did the chicken cross before there were roads?

* * * * *

Did you hear about the woman who said her goal was to live forever? So Far so good. (Hmmm)

* * * * *

And, finally:

If at first you don't succeed, don't try skydiving.

* * * * *

"Always laugh when you can. It is cheap medicine." Lord Byron

Sometimes we have to lighten up our lives a bit, don't we? Hope you had a moment of fun.
