Need to vent......

Monday, October 12, 2009

This sounds awful, but I am so tired of hearing my husband gripe and complain when he is watching tv and we "disrupt" him. I am to the point I won't even watch a movie with him anymore because if the kids talk or make noise he has a fit. I feel like I have three kids instead of two. Sorry, I had to get that off my chest.

Every married woman on the site- in the world can identify with this; but, we don't always have the nerve to voice our opinions! You go girl! Didn't it feel great getting it off your chest?!?!? Even if it fell on deaf ears at the house; we heard it loud and clear here......

I had to giggle when I read this blog. I think it is a man-thing. Mine doesn't throw a fit but he sighs a little impatiently and kinda rolls his eyes when I talk during a show, especially fights. Then I just be quiet mid-sentence. I now know that I am not alone.

My Dad was like that when we were growing up so I know how you feel. Right now I deal with my boyfriend who wants to talk through a movie!!! ugh!! But I think I would rather deal with that then the other. At least I can tell him to hush up and most of the time he does! I know it's tough..it's like walking on eggshells and your stomach tightens up and you are stressed and can't enjoy the evening watching t.v. Hang in there. Maybe have the kids watch a different t.v. with their own movie earlier in the evening and then maybe you two watch a later show/movie together? I hope it works out!! Have a great evening! emoticon
