There's ALWAYS more....

Saturday, October 17, 2009

I went to the Power Pump class at the fitness center today...there was a different instructor. OMG! I felt like it was the first time I'd ever been there. It's amazing how a change of instructor can completely change/intensify the workout. I left feeling depressed that even though I'm down 25 pounds and exercise NEARLY daily, I'm still in CRAPPY SHAPE.

So I'm more motivated than ever to stay on track.

In another part of my life where there's ALWAYS more, I've been asked to conduct TWELVE training sessions over the next few months for faculty on our new web-based Learning Management System. This is, of course, in addition to my regular workload. And of course, it's not the same one 12 times, it's 12 DIFFERENT ones. The good news is they are actually going to pay me, and the amount turned out to be about 3 times more than I thought it would be.

But maybe that's a bad thing, because now the expectations are really high!!

Training faculty on new technology is Makambo's job, not mine!! emoticon This will be a working weekend for me as well, so take care everyone, and do a great job because the weigh in is fast approaching!

A demain!

Learning Management System? What's that? I agree with the other comments - you must be well thought of to be asked to conduct these instructional workshops.

Good for you with the exercise - everyone's at different levels and it sounds like the new instructor helped you to push yourself more than usual.

TG, recalling the give yourself credit business, it appears you must be mighty, mighty good at what you do or you wouldn't be teaching teachers for Pete's sake. I applaud emoticon
you for reaching such a level of expertise!! Give yourself credit and lots of it. Oh yeah, mucho credit for the exercise class today.

Hey TG - buck-up - you could be training me!! Now that would be a challenge!! AND I'm glad you're getting paid for this one - but it sounds like you will really be earning your money.

Your school must really think highly of you to keep asking you to do this!!

Love your new attitude. You are really tearing it up right now AND I'll bet your in much better shape than you were so you're getting there!

You take care and enjoy the rest of the week-end.
