You win, I lose...(but we both really win!)

Monday, October 19, 2009

I have lost two pounds, down to 158. I'm feeling pretty good about it, but of course would like it to go faster!

I printed off the "Instructors Guide" to the software I'm supposed to train faculty on? It's 1200 pages long! Yeah, this is a disaster waiting to happen...

I got a couple of compliments at work today about my appearance. Nobody mentioned my weight, but you know how people can't put their finger on why you look better? So I'm pretty happy about that.

Vandal, I am proud of you for your success. I know you won't ever go back to 270 again -- for one thing, it's too damn hard to take it off! And now you have friends who will hold you accountable. Don't make us come to CA to give you a thrashing!!

The software is ANGEL, which is our learning management system -- like Blackboard or WebCT.

BLW, it takes ALL MORNING to print off 1,200 pages! ACK!

Trivia Question: How long does it take to print 1200 pages? You left the middle digit 6 in your past. Give yourself lots of credit for moving into a new set of digits. Do you have a reward goal planned? If not, you should. Treat yourself as special as you are.

Congrats on the lbs lost...you can't afford to slack off because I am on your tail.

That must feel great to be getting compliments - I think eating healthy not only helps with your weight loss but probably with your overall appearance (skin, hair, etc.)

Good luck with the 1200 pages - I would have a hard time staying awake with that task!

WAY TO GO TG. I think you actually win this challenge (again) - 2 pounds as a percent of what you still want to lose is much better than my 4 pounds as a percent.

Still I think we both winners here and Nancy15togoal has a good story as well!!

Glad your getting the compliments - you certainly deserve them with all the work on the dreadmill, power pump and so on!!

    We are rockin!

I do feel for you with the 1200 pages of instruction however BUT you can do it!

Gotta run to the dentist now so talk to you later!
