out of motivation !

Well i have not been doing great for a while now.
I have been eating at night alot !
suprisingly i have been active enough that i have not put on extra weight lately ... in spite of my feeding frenzy's when i get out of work at midnight and go home and eat with hubby.... that has to be God's grace... I'm just frustrated for my lack of control and motivation to lose what i gained back... Hoping to get better !

    Find out how many calories your body frame can handle and subtract 1 or 200. Schedule eating (same time everyday) your body won't know what time it is and save 4 or 500 calories to enjoy with hubby when you get home!!!

    If you are fit and you're burning lots of calories you may not need to cut back. Personally I had to because I was in pain trying to get out of a low chair and out of breath walking up 12 steps.

    DO NOT FRET!!! It only makes matters worse. You can't go into the holidays listening to those feelings. emoticon

    Spark has an article that says eating at night is no problem and isn't bad for us, so when they say it's okay, don't tell yourself off because you are doing fine. I work til 9 one night and Sundays I hardly get any water, but can catch up later. Allow yourself some peace of mind. Love and emoticon

    I KNOW about the late night eating so well. Too well. This has been a challenge for me too. Don't be too hard on yourself. Some days are better than others. Stay strong.

    Wow, you're able to recognize a behavior that isn't helpful, you're moving enough to counteract that behavior's effect, that sounds successful to me! It's hard when you work shiftwork, and have to eat with husband off schedule. I understand, my DH works it sometimes as well.

    Sounds like you're doing better than you give yourself credit for! By any chance, are you skipping meals at work? That can really set up a carb craving later. You might try a high protein snack at work, to curb some of the cravings. It's helping me some.
