Rules For Tomorrow

Sunday, November 01, 2009

Well tomorrow i have decided to take anew approach to how i try to lose weight and how i try to deal with what im eating.

I have always siad that if i make rules then i will be unhappy because i wont be able to eat the foods i want, which are usually the foods that are worst for you!!
But i have now decided that to really progress and get anywhere i need to make rules, AND follow them. As in I am NOT going to eat some certiant things and i am NOT going to sit on my bum all day and i AM going to make the effort.

Its as i almost expext the weight loss and fitness to just come to me after i have been running once, or eating a salad, but its NOT and it is really time to make an effort and try.

My mum has even said to me tonight, oh you looking your putting a bit of weight on again.

I mean im not really that bothered about what other people think, but its how i feel about myself, and i dont feel good.

Tomorrow is going to be a packed day, running, quck fire challenge, strictly come dancersize and other fitness videos. And i am going to have a good breakfast, drink loads of water and going to prepare a fresh lunch and have a small dinner.

If anyone reads this and has anyting motivational to say then pleaseee do :D

I know what you mean about restricting food. it does seem like banning certain things would make you want them more. however, if you really KNOW why you are doing it and focus on what the outcomes will be, the cravings don't happen or go away pretty quickly. I went vegan and never missed dairy because I knew exactly what I meant by forgoing it. I wouldn't ever eat animal ingredients or super processed food because they are so bad for you, but its not like I'm denying myself anything, I just don't think of them as food! build habits slowly, with deliberation, and they'll stay with you. you can do it!!
