I REALLY need a vacation....

I've not been able to be as active on SP in the last month for several reasons, and I honestly can say it has been hard to not be on here daily. I've missed everyone - sharing - seeing comments - feedback - humor - words of wisdom - experiences and updates.

At work I was able to access SP from my office PC and then things changed and we weren't allowed to get on things anymore. Gotta LOVE firewalls and security. But I have to remember they are there for a purpose. This was when I was able to update, touch base and keep up. This was when I was able to hold myself more accountable. I've got to be committed to get on later from home when I have some free time.

There are some positives to report....this Friday marks 7 weeks since I had my lap band surgery and I am pushing a 24 lb weight loss with one adjustment "fill" under my belt - literally and figuratively. I feel great and am learning my limitations.

On another homefront, my sweet Dad who had his aortic valve replaced and his main artery bypassed is doing wonderfully. It was slow and go at first - but now he's really coming back as himself and even better. I am so grateful for this blessing.

Halloween came and went! - Now it's November and WOW not long till Christmas?! Say it ain't so?! Yes reality bites.

I wish everyone well - I miss you and I hope to be a better Sparker! I do need a vacation and on Mon Nov 9th I will be headed to Branson MO for 5 days with my son and inlaws.

Monday can't get here quick enough!
