Biggest Loser 8 Week Challenge

Well, the first week has already passed in the Biggest Loser 8 Week challenge and I am pretty happy with my results. I have lost 3.2lbs this week and I am really looking forward to reaching my weight goal by the end of this challenge. I have made several goals before and have had a hard time sticking with them. Now that I am actually involved in a challenge, I feel much more motivated and determined to see results. I have been on this weight loss roller coaster for quite awhile. I have been stuck with 10-15lbs to lose for the past 5 months. It is driving me nuts! I know my problem is that I am not putting my 'all' into this and I am not remaining consistent. Now that this challenge was presented, I feel re-energized! I know that I have what it takes to lose this last bit of weight and I will do whatever I can to reach my goal. I want to begin 2010 without having to make another new years resolution to lose weight. For 2010 I want to focus on maintenance. A few extra pounds lost would be great, but that will not be my main focus. I want to be healthy for my daughther and my family and I feel this is how I am going to get there! I have been over-weight all of my life and I am now teetering on 'average' weight. That is a GREAT feeling! I can't wait to no longer be overweight and begin living my life without worrying about my weight. I can do this and I will! emoticon
