I tried this earlier and the whole thing crashed! Here goes...
I sure enjoy Spark People. Even on a bad day, you guys give me something to look forward to even if it's just logging my fitness and surfing around thru everyone's page...Thanks to all of my SP friends!!
My friend Tammy took me on a trail ride this weekend. We picked Chester up from the trainer and went to a local state park. I wasn't sure how he'd be after 10 months of hard dressage training but he was PERFECT! What a blast we had--even cantered a bit and he didn't flash back to his days in the hunt.
As for my weightloss, I derail myself every weekend but have been sticking to a healthy diet during the week and lots of exercise all week. Keeps my weight generally on a great big plateau (could be worse, I know!) I decided that my weekend eating is closely linked to drinking a few beers or a margarita--then I don't watch what I eat. I joined the Cut the Alcohol Challenge which dictates no alcohol during the week (not a problem) and limits on the weekend. Turns out, that's harder
Now I'm going AF (alcohol-free) till Thanksgiving as a push to keep up with Kathleen and PalominoGirl!! I'm still 10 pounds from my original SP goal--when the weight was coming off fast. it seemed as though I'd be ahead of schedule, but it does get slower as you go. I really need to shake things up a bit!
By the way, those of you who are wondering about the $5 bill in the dog poop--no, my husband is not out looking for the other half, but if it had been a $100 he would be
