I've managed to maintain my weight (just haven't managed to lose anymore!), but I feel that this semester has taken a toll on my health. I have a week off for Thanksgiving and I'm going to focus on replacing all of the soy lattes and chocolate that I've been jacked up on with more fruit and veggies!

Stay good this holiday, but don't forget to indulge a little bit! Have a few bites of that cake -- just not a few slices!

You have done very well. I am so inspired by your turn point moment and the way you followed through on a new life. I wish you well!! I don't know where you are living but until a few years ago, I lived outside of Harvard Square near the Pemberton Market, and I loved to snowy winters. Not to mention the big sweaters and baggie jeans made it possible to hide some of my excess. Good luck on your journey.

Are you doing the p90x as you indicated in your April blog? I have friends that are doing it and are absolutely in love with it. One has lost 34 pounds and looks incredible and Joyce was able to lose those remaining couple of pounds and tone up. She had already lost over 50 pounds and she is over 40 so this is no easy task.
I also wanted to comment on your writing skills. They are special. You should really consider doing something with them. You inspired me. I am hoping you gave me the spark I need.
I am disabled from a car accident I had seven years ago. Exercise really isn't an option for me so I have to really eat right. I have a spinal cord injury and live on pain pills and other pills for other symptoms. Needless to say it makes it very difficult to lose weight. I had gotten to within 15 pounds of my goal even after my accident and then my Dad passed away. That put me over the edge and my pain threshold went through the roof and here I am at 270, 40 pounds higher then I have ever been in my life and can't seem to get control. I think of it constantly. I can't fit in some chairs and it makes me sick. I am embarrassed about it. but that does not stop me from eating at 3 and 4 in the morning when I can't sleep. Yet maybe this story, your story, may have turned the key. Let's see. I would love to see more of you now. It figures I am ready to blog and your not doing it on a regular basis any more. Hope to see more of you and I hope you you finish what you started.
