I had another good day yesterday, and the proof is on the scale. I weighed in today at 159.5, which is exactly where I was on Wednesday before the Thanksgiving weekend began. So that's some form of victory, and I'm giving myself credit!
I also had to bake cookies last night for a school function, and I didn't have ANY. TC had 2 and offered me a bite of his which I declined. The thought in my head was, "I don't need this and I don't even want to get started." So that too was a victory!
W - water - 9 glasses plus.
A - Alcohol- none.
T - Table -- did not eat lunch OR dinner at the table. Need to do better on this. Mindless munching in front of the TV = bad!
E - Exercise - 3.5 miles on the trail; walked/jogged it. (More walking than jogging)
R - record - Yes, I recorded everything I ate.
R - Read - I read my cards and contemplated on the reasons I definitely DESERVE to lose this last 15 pounds.
I need to tweak the WATERR business -- I need to add a "V" for Vitamins. I need to add a letter for late-night snacking.
I'm loving the Beck book on IPod; I've really started working the program much better since I got it. I also spent time this weekend exploring Sparkpeople and am AMAZED by the resources that just go on and on. I've spent time reading other people's blogs and am feeling energized and motivated by the positive energy out there.
Not only CAN this weight loss journey be done, there are thousands of people out there DOING IT and WINNING IT -- and I'm going to be one of them!
My goals for today are to get on the treadmill and do more jogging and to make a fish parmesan recipe I found on Spark Recipes.
It will be a busy day because I goofed off and didn't do as much of my schoolwork as I should have, but in this semester all that's left are 6 days of classes, 4 days of finals, one major staff training (and a partridge in a pear tree!)
Have a great day everyone, you can do it and you are sooo worth it.
