This is a weird name for a blog, but it is the new acronym for the habits I must practice on a daily basis. WATERR was good but it didn't include everything I personally need to track to meet my goal. So I'll go through the letters one by one and let you know how I did yesterday:
W - water, had 9 glasses yesterday
A - alcohol - none, thankyouverymuch.
R - read my cards - NO, but I did listen to a weight-loss podcast I download from I-Tunes called "Fat2Fit Radio." I highly recommend it. As long as I'm reading/listening to something motivational regarding weight loss, I'm going to count it as a "win" in this category..
R - record - yes, I recorded everything I ate.
V - vitamins - yes, I took the dreaded vitamins! (all 5 of them,; which is why they're a struggle)
E - exercise - I did 60 minutes on the dreadmill, 3.75 miles. I tried to do more jogging but I'm a big baby and just hate doing anything "hard". So this is just OK.
S - snacks at night - I had my planned SF jello with fruit and FF cool whip.
T - Table - Yes, dinner at the table.
S - Slow down & notice every bite - pretty good on this one but always room for improvement
So I have to give myself a big fat "A" for yesterday!!
I weigh 159 this morning. I'm getting ready to head down into new territory; I'll have to look back and see how long ago it was that I hit 158.5, which was the lowest I've been since 2003.
I feel strong and completely committed. This is an important goal both physically and mentally, and I WILL achieve it. "It ain't over until I win."
