Christmas Cookies are EVIL!

The other day I started a cooking project with my HGCP kiddlets. We are making cookies to donate. Now of course I need to sample the product because we are making them to give away, and well - I need to make sure that they are edible. We started off with an easy PB cookie I call them *Amazing* Peanut Butter cookies but now I need to make a confession… I need to rename them- They are now called *Disappearing PB cookies* emoticon

These, little -round -melt- in -your -mouth- delites, are EVIL! Yes Evil I say! emoticon
They come to life in the quiet moments and their hideous little voices call me over and over and over again. Until I have NO CHOICE but to devour them! In my defense it is the ONLY way that I can SHUT THEM UP!
Needless to say – I need to find another project! Non food related of course! Or at least cookies that I hate. Ahhhhhhhhhh maybe Fruit Cake is the answer!

    Oh, those little voice do call. I try to bake just before grandkids are coming so they can all take cookies HOME WITH THEM. Good luck with your Christmas baking, wonder if they make a MUTE chip for cookies?

    hva u tried using splenda for abking n switching out half the butter for applesauce it makes them a little healthier

    LOL..I can relate I make baked goods for my friends and family every Christmas..this year I bought a streusal cake instead of banana cake..and I had to get it out of the cupboard and make it ..just because it was there looking delicious!
    I can't wait for Christmas to come and go ..I never have that stuff in my house..now you know why!1..lol

    I hear them too...OMG I love PB cookies and there for don't make them at home unless the grandkids are here and going to take them home with them...another trick is make them freeze them , although I have heard there voices coming from the freezer sometimes....
    I like your idea about the fruit cake.

    My brother's wife Tracey bakes all kinds of Christmas cookies, this time of the year is sooooo the best time to show up and just gain weight smelling the house. Yesterday she was making some little donut things with a name I can't even pronounce, and sprinkling powdered sugar over them ohhhh it was so hard just to have 2 only. I am happy that I showed her spark recipes to add to what she makes. And she even joined. You are right Christmas is great but the cookies are bad. namaste
