Checking in

Wednesday, December 16, 2009

Hi everyone,

I have NOT been present on the site for the last week and probably won't for the NEXT week.

The end of classes, finals, grading, (then rechecking grades for students who feel their grade wasn't fair), conducting a staff training, registering new students...it's been a whirlwind! Tomorrow is graduation, so the last obligation of the semester! Yippee!

My brother arrives Friday for an extended weekend. He lives in Malaysia and I haven't seen him for 2 years. He will leave Monday evening, and on Tuesday we are taking our trailer and heading south to Texas for the holiday.

So this may be my last entry for awhile!

I'm looking forward to AFTER Christmas when things settle down and I will be able to get back to Sparkpeople and my diet efforts. I've not done well and don't see that changing for the next couple of weeks. My brother will want NOTHING BUT AMERICAN FOOD, fast food, fried food, pizza, etc -- the junkier the better, because he just doesn't get much of it in Kuala Lumpur!

Next semester will be good though -- for the first 8 weeks I don't have a T/TH class in the mornings, so I'll be able to get to the fitness center for PowerPump. That should really help get my efforts on track.

Everyone hang in there, and talk to you in a couple of weeks. I may be down but I'm NOT out.

    Hi TG,

We certainly understand so you enjoy your brother and keep some balance in your life with the job demands. Do promise me and yourself that you will read your Beck's cards and enjoy the food but limit your quantities. Don't undo everything you have worked so hard for.

Talk to you when you get back - and don't forget to COME BACK!!
