Tracking food. I hate doing it. . 99 percent of the people in maintenance at this site, they do it. That is one of the major keys to getting to their weight loss goal and staying there!
So I did it yesterday. OMG did I eat crappy. I did. I had 2 fruits and Veggies all day.
I ate countless naughty carbs. And I washed it down with a mixed drink to soothe my aching muscles from my fall. HMMMMMM, I think I saw on Spark, the reason that I am not losing weight.
That is ok. Today is a new day. I am drinking my water. I was going to skip w.watchers because of the weather and fear of gaining weight. I will be taking my four wheel drive vehicle out to drive there. Wimp. I will put the weight gain on my spark people tracker. Because remember the naked truth? At home I weigh in wearing my Birthday suit and I will not be doing that at w.watchers. LOL. So i will put on my big girl pants and sweater. And suck up my weight gain and clothes gain. And I will be honest with myself and my cheering squad!
What was my favorite picture on goal setting?
Oh I remember...
I can do this, I am worth it, I deserve to be healthy. My mantra!
I love myself.
Day two of tracking will be much better. I promise!

    You can do this!!! I also stink at getting my veggies. Maybe I should start tracking them to make myself accountable? At least I love my fruit! Good luck!

    I never skip a meeting. Never -- unless I'm not here. Remeber, you can always skip weighing in if you really want to, but the support & motivation is just sooooooooo worth it.

    I've been struggling a bit with the noshing myself lately. Must be winter! Yeah, that's right! But just remember that spring IS coming, and we want to look good for it. May be shallow, but it works!

    You definitely aren't alone. I've been frantically cleaning the house this morning in an effort to put off updating my Spark numbers. NOT a task I'm looking forward to!

    Had to laugh at the comment about weight watcher's weigh-in. Years ago, I had a boss that always wore pants except on Thursdays when she wore the UGLIEST sleeveless dress you've ever seen. She wore that sleeveless dress every single Thursday even if there was snow on the ground. She finally admitted she was doing it because it was the lightest garment she owned and it's what she wore to her weekly Weight Watcher weigh-ins.

    Well, I'm off to find something else to scrub so I don't have to face my weight reality.

    When I got back from vacation and a new challenge had started again, with many of the same team members, had to re-enter my 14 lb weight gain. UGH!! And then to top it off, I kept eating and gaining. Thank goodness, I didn't have to record my weight until today. Kind of hits you in the gut, especially since my gut got bigger.
    Tracking and daily goals seem to work best for me and help me to stay on track better. Wishing you all the best for 2010. You are worth it! Have you started reading The Spark yet? Some reinforcing ideas! emoticon

    I hear you. I used to track every bite, but somehow I not only stopped tracking, I dread starting back up. I know I need to do it though. Tomorrow I grit my teeth and start tracking again.
    That was funny the thought of you weighing in at WW in your birthday suit. I'm sure they, of all people, would understand if you went ahead did that! LOL!

    I have been pretty bad at tracking lately....so I am glad I am not the only one...but you are right we are all worth it. I have tried to start out the new year with a positive attitude and I know what I have to do to get this weight off...so here's to kicking butt in 2010 for all of us!!

    I had to do the same thing....start tracking and put my real honest weight on my tracker. Grrr.

    2010 better watch out! I am going to kick it's fanny! emoticon
