Holiday health related memories:
After I asked for less chicken and more veggies on a tostada "Hmmm never heard of that one before"
After asking a fashion buyer if they had clothes to fit me (this was in Texas, it was a legit question) "Oh honey, you're sample size!"
From my brother "We can make better food at home for a lot less than going out"
After presenting perfectly cooked scallops and steak cooked in concert with my brother "How did you DO that!?!?" (This was replied with a high five with my bro...)
After cooking a healthy dinner for my in-laws "Mmmmmm, and it's healthy too!"
Here we are 2010, get ready for us imperfect humans and our new decade goals! Mine include...
Keep up the healthy diet, cut back a bit more on the alcohol
Get in better shape - January is 15 minutes of activity every day, February and March are more specific and are posted on the fridge for anyone who wants to come see 'em
Cut back on caffeine (she says finishing that one cup of half caff)
Don't surf so much in the morning! (She says wrapping up surfing with a blog entry)
Be more focused about work
Practice belly dance more! See that second point above...
Financially - get out of debt except mortgage, save up a 6 month emergency fund, and start investing. Keep up the careful budgeting!
Really that is about it... nothing fancy, and yes I have specific goals and whatnot but they are all interrelated and such. But since I am slacking on that surfing goal and the half caff is gone, I need to load up on the herbal tea and head to work. Hasta!
