Wow, Thank God I know how to exercise. I am really struggling with the eating. I have been going backwards for so long, that I almost forgot how to move forward. Let me explain.
last jan, feb and march. I journaled and exercised. Part of my biggest loser challenge at the gym. 8 weeks equal to 21 lbs. WOW. April hit. No more journaling. Still kept losing. I was still in the groove. May hit. My mother in law suddenly dies. Little blip, no weight gain. Success. Weight loss is slowing down. June hits. I am in the 190's, I have a goal in mind, my first Sprint Triathlon is set. Boating season starts. Even though my exercise is insane, my eating and drinking is not as controlled as it could be. August hits. I am at 189! 48 lbs gone!
I get vertigo for several weeks right before my tri. Training is shot, times are shot, eating is shot. I gain 8 lbs by the tri on September 13th. Ugg. I maintain it all fall. Then in November I start creeping up a little. December I join weight watchers, but don't follow the program, still not tracking... This past week. Wake up call.. How much do I have to gain back before i wake up?
I have been tracking everything I have been eating for 6 days. On this site and on w.watchers. I want to know what my caloric intake is not just 27 points. I have made a personal 100 day tracking challenge. I am on day 6. I know I can do it. I wonder how my results will be?
BTW, if any of you are lazy like me and do not like to track what you put in your mouth. i have been amazed by the junk that has been slipping through my lips. not enough milk products. Not enough veggies. Way too many carbs. It has been a real wake up call for me.
