In order to achieve my 2010 Goals, I’m setting monthly goals to keep me motivated and on the right path.


* To log onto Sparkpeople every day
This keeps me accountable. By logging onto the site, I am more motivated and I receive the support and encouragement from my wonderful network of Sparkfriends. Through Spark, I will continue with my healthy living challenge and track what I eat each day.

* To be active each day
I am planning to stretch and walk each day with Leslie Sansone.

* To menu plan and grocery shop each week
This action will help ensure that I eat healthy, home-cooked meals for dinner instead of ordering pizza or eating take out.

* To take time getting “ready” each day
This goal requires me to not hit the snooze button in the mornings. I have tried to break-up with the snooze button multiple times in the past. I’d like to break-up with snooze for good!

* To read three books which are currently on my dresser

* To make one trip to the library

* To de-clutter and organize the desk/filing cabinet in the spare room

* To reflect and journal on Sunday mornings (questions for my soul)

* To respond to outstanding emails (and write actual letters!)

* To have sex three times a week

* To go on a “date night”

* To talk about progress/issues (towards the end of the month)

* To pay all bills on time

* To put $100 into savings account

* To not buy anything that is unneccessary

    Good luck on your goals! Like you, I need to break up with the snooze button. I swear I can snooze for up to an hour sometimes! Then I have to rush in the morning and I hate that.

    Just wanted you to know there is a site called habitforge.com where you can make a habit on there for 21 days and it will send reminders to your email!! :)

    Maybe I should take on these marriage ones for myself! emoticon

    I used to date a guy who was "snooze" happy...........and it drove me nuts!

    He compromised and put his alarm clock away from the side of the bed (on top of his dresser) so that he would have to get up and turn it off (he no longer hit snooze since he was already up)....just thought I would pass on for an idea!!
