Well today my challenge for one of my teams was to write in my blog how I have been doing. I was writing on this blog every day for a while there until I realized it was more to get the points and not writing anything of substance. Today I'm supposed to write about how I am doing.

I don't think I'm doing that great.

I was totally kicking butt for the year 2009 and since I joined Sparkpeople I lost 60 lbs. But then the holidays came and I gained 2 lbs back. I know it's not much but it is still hard getting back into the swing of things after I had let it go during the holidays. Don't know why I let things go during the holidays it just felt like I was missing out on things or I was depriving myself.

Now the holidays are over and I have gotten back on track with eating and joined my neighborhood gym and another Zumba class but I don't feel the same.

This is a slippery slide.

    How's this week going? I think writing the blog jsut for the point sis worth something too. I'm surprized what comes out sometimes.     You must figure out WHY you feel differently. WHY did you feel like you were depriving yourself? Maybe you need something in your life that you're missing and it isn't the food. I know it's easier said than done. I have no problem telling others what they need to do, but when it comes to myself that's a lot harder. So here I am telling you what to do emoticon Glad you started up your Zumba classes again, I know how much you enjoyed them.

    Hope you had a nice weekend. I hear there was a lot of snow there recently and it was really cold.

    What I've found to help me in the new year is to get most or all 8 glasses of water each day. It's been filling me up and helping big time emoticon Try drinking it out of a wine glass or a pretty glass that you just have for your water. If it feels special it will taste better emoticon
