My Accountability - Update for 1/13/10

My biggest downfall in 2009 was not being consistent with tracking my food and being accountable for what I am eating.

My goals for 2010 include
1. Tracking Daily
2. Going to the Y 2-3 nights a week and Strength Training 2-3 days a week.
3. Cardio of at least 30 minutes every day even if it’s just walking
4. Getting back to the 130’s.

As part of my accountability for 2010 I plan to post here to my blog daily with my calories and cardio/exercise for the day.

Daily calorie range for food is 1,750 - 2,100 a day. (Upped again)
Burn a total of 4750 calories (I did order a new HRM so I should be able to post actuals once that comes in) UPDATE! I HAVE THE HRM! WOO HOO!


Sunday 1/10:
45 minutes on Elliptical – 400 calories
40 minutes running 3 miles (I'm slow) - 300 calories
I may jump in the EA Active and goof around
Need to do 25 pushups

ACTUAL:
35 minutes running outside in 16*F - 2.8 miles - DONE
45 minutes on Elliptical - DONE
15 minutes on EA Active - DONE
30 Pushups - DONE

Calories: 1,692
Cardio: ~753
Minutes: 95
Deficit: -920.75


Monday 1/11:
35 minutes on Elliptical – 300 calories
25 pushups

ACTUAL:
I got emailed to help Amy Jo out so instead of going home and getting on my elliptical I taught the Thighs, Abs, & Glutes class
60 minutes - TAG - DONE
no pushups.

Calories: 1,952
Cardio: ~450
Minutes: 55
Deficit: -383.75


Tuesday 1/12:
Strength & Tone class – 300 calories
Teach Dance Fusion – 600 calories
25 pushups

ACTUAL:
55 minutes S&T - DONE
55 minutes Dance Fusion - DONE
55 pushups :) - DONE

Calories: 1,853
Cardio: ~900
Minutes: 110
Deficit: -922.85


Wednesday 1/13:
Teach Double Step class – 600 calories
30 minutes Running – 300 calories
25 pushups

ACTUAL: I have my HRM so I can give you actual calories burned now.
Teach Double Step class – 635 actual calories DONE!
Avg HR = 137, Peak = 162, Min = 88
42 minutes Running – 498 actual calories (that's a lot! DONE!)
Avg HR = 139, Peak = 155, Min = 86
25 pushups - Not Done, will request pushups at the Y again tonight. If we don't do them I'll do my own after class.

Calories: 1,635 (I was actually under on calories for my range!)
Cardio: 1133
Minutes: 97
Deficit: -1352.05


Thursday 1/14:
Strength & Tone class – 300 calories
30 minutes Running – 300 calories
25 pushups


Friday 1/25:
35 minutes on Elliptical – 300 calories (I will have to get up early to get this done - this is my book club night)
25 pushups


Saturday 1/9:
Teach Cycling Class – 650 calories burned
Teach Strength & Tone – 450 calories burned
25 pushups


Total Calories burned – 4750 for the week
