CRISIS AVERTED, thanks to spark friends!

Saturday, January 16, 2010

Blogging yesterday morning about my DANGER spot was very helpful -- I did NOT stop for wine on the way home. Thank you, Geinah, for the suggestion to take another way home! (DUH, why haven't I thought of that?!)

Anyway, being accountable to everyone was very helpful and I knew I didn't want to disappoint.

So I'm on track, feeling strong and committed, and gunning to lose these last two holiday pounds.

    Hi TG,

Good job on recognizing what was happening and doing something about it - MAJOR CREDIT TO YOU!!

I think for those of us with Mon-Fri jobs we always gear to Friday night when we are accountable to no one but ourselves. We look forward to it from the school years - "yea school's out" and then our Friday night dates and so on. Friday and week-ends were times when we could do what we wanted for the most part.

My mindset still hasn't changed since getting older - everyone at work still says - "It's Friday!" and "what are you doing this week-end - we're boating or camping or whatever". Anyway I too have the Friday issues and just want to celebrate with beer or wine but we'll get it figured out - you did get some good suggestions from your sparkfriends and I'm going to use them as well.

    Take care!

Good for you: because I can resist anything but temptation, I have to avoid temptation!

Good for you! Amazing that we get in such ruts that simple changes don't occur to us, huh?
