Went to the fitness center and did an hour Cardio Power-Pump class (have I mentioned how much I hate that Nazi in spandex?), and 44 minutes divided between the recumbent bike and the elliptical.
Have my meals planned -- TC wanted "comfort food" for dinner so on Sparkrecipes I found a meatloaf recipe baked in a muffin tin to control portion size. With extra lean ground beef, 112 calories each!
I pulled down a couple of big boxes of photos and started looking through them for my vision collage. I am absolutely ASTOUNDED how many more pictures I "allowed" of me when I was at my goal weight 10 years ago. DAMN! I was smokin'. Kind of sad I can hardly find ANY pictures of me for the last 3-4 years. Like TC says, it's like I didn't exist.
I STILL have not gotten down to my pre-holiday weight, but I'm just not going to sweat it. I'm going to try to up my calories from around 1100 to around 1300-1400, thinking it will keep me from bingeing. I also NEVER hit the recommended fat intake, not even close, so I've started to think about incorporating more fats into my daily diet. I'm hoping this too will help me feel more satisfied. Generally I can stay strict with myself for 4-6 days, and then, like a rubber band, I just SNAP. So the other night I even had air-popped popcorn with BUTTER!
I've only got to hit 160 by the end of the month to meet my 5-lb goal, and I think I'll be able to do that without any problem, barring any major meltdown.
I hope everyone is having a good day DESPITE the weather challenges that we all seem to be facing! BLW, stay warm in Michigan! I came across some pictures of a snow storm in 1999 where we had 12 inches of snow overnight. Of course, where you are that's probably not unusual!
