Not a Fan of Mondays

I always have a hard time transitioning from the relaxed atmosphere of the weekend to the "hurry-hurry-hurry" mindset of the workweek. I race from one activity to another and feel like I am being sucked down a whirlpool that I can't escape from until Friday night.
Well, anyway, it's Monday morning at 6:09 and I have 21 more minutes before I have to get on the treadmill toget my workweek started, so I'm going to enjoy the next 21 minutes. Oops, 20.
I was not pleased to bounce up 1.5 pounds between yesterday morning and today. But I'm taking it philosophically because what is the alternative? Throw in the towel? Go on a mini-meltdown and eat a bunch of crap out of revenge? I did eat at the top end of my calorie range yesterday but it was a vegetarian day, so ??? Who knows?
I'm weighing every day per Beck to lessen the emotional impact of the scale numbers on my weight loss efforts. If I hadn't weighed in all week I would have been seriously disappointed by the scale this morning, but considering yesterday I was 160, I can live with 161.5 this morning knowing it will go down in the next day or so.
Hope everyone has a GREAT start to the week and DO YOUR BEST to make this a perfectly wonderful SPARKPEOPLE DAY!! WE DESERVE IT!
