I might be getting the hang of it.

I've started to take stock of what I've eaten. I noticed a lot of overages in fat, sodium, and calories. Calories are the easiest for me to track, so (except for one day of bad, bad decisions) I am doing better at staying within my limits. Fat and sodium, not so much. I can kind of control my fat intake, but sodium is REALLY hard for me. I've been trying harder the last few days, and found that it's like if I can keep one in control, I forget about the other.
Today, however, I did really well in everything except sodium. I am going to blame the sodium thing on the reason I hold water at the end of every month.

But today, I played around with my end-of-day food choices before I ate, and I got EVERYTHING else within limits! It took a lot of finagling, but I feel damned good about it. I'm going to see if I can't plan my meals a little sooner instead of bunching it all into the end of the day. I hate planning meals, but I want to try again. I'm so excited to do things right!
Any ideas on how to lower my sodium intake since I haven't exactly learned to cook yet? I don't salt my food (probably because it's so high in sodium, I don't need to, ha!). Actually, any ideas on cooking low-sodium dishes would be helpful, too. I'm excited to keep straightening my path, and this is really going to help. I don't have high blood pressure yet, and hopefully (now that I care), I never will!
