A-Z list, thanks to Silverback!

My furry friend said I should do this as well, so here it is....


A is for Age: I’ll be 39 this year…one year away from joining the Halfway to Eighty Club!

B is for Before: Before SP, I don’t think I understood what the word “hope” meant.

C is for Career: Hah! I’ve done a lot…social services, special Olympics, mortgage business, worker’s comp, retail, healthcare, etc. Currently? I cannot find a job for anything!

D is for Dad's name: dead (nothing else to say regarding that one)

E is for Essential items to bring to a party: Good attitude, gift of some sort, and my hubby

F is for Favorite song or music: I have several but the one that stands out the most is Matchbox Twenty “Let’s See How Far We’ve Come”

G is for Goof off thing to do: High Velocity Bowling on the PS3…it’s a hoot! Play with the dog in the backyard and wrestle around the living room.

H is for Hometown: Rockford, Illinois

I is for Instrument you play: I played the Coronet/Trumpet one year, and can noodle my way around a keyboard ever so slightly (haven’t done it in years, but always wanted lessons). I used to be able to read sheet music flawlessly, but those days are gone.

J is for Jam or Jelly you like: Grape Jelly

K is for Kids: That’s up to God at this point. However, I do have a fur-kid named Finnegan who is a crack up!

L is for Living arrangement: Live in a house with my hubby of almost 12 years and our pooch.

M is for Mom's name: Jackie.

N is for Name of best friend: God (although He might not see it that way!), Shawn (hubby).

O is for Overnight Stay in a Hospital: Quite a few unfortunately

P is for Phobias: Claustrophobia, Heights, probably a few insects here and there such as wasps.

Q is for Quote you like: Worrying is like a rocking chair; it gives you something to do, but doesn’t get you anywhere. Also, Forgiveness means letting go of the hope that the past could have been different.

R is for Relationship that lasted longest: My hubby: 15 years together, going on 12 years of marriage.

S is for Siblings: One older sister whom I have no relationship with.

T is for Texas, ever been? Driven through it a couple of times, but that’s it so far.

U is for Unique trait: Sadly, nothing terribly unique here.

V is for vegetable you love: Broccoli and Cauliflower, plus tomatoes and cucumbers.

W is for Worst traits: paralyzing fear, overreacting, lack of patience, not believing that I *truly* matter (although am working on all of these consistently).

X- is for X-rays you've had: Just about every part of my body has been x-rayed. I’m due for some head scan to check my pituitary, but I’ve put that off. If I have it done, then everything will have been x-rayed at one time or another.

Y is for Yummy food you make: Chicken manicotti, pico de gallo, brownies, and a homemade tomato noodle soup recipe from my grandmother.

Z is for Zodiac sign: Leo
