Purpose of this run was to LSD with less mileage from last week. I can tell that I have not done running ST for a week now. I must and will hit the ST starting tomorrow and every other day. TM must be noted that on planned running days I will not have oatmeal for bfast as it is causing issues and becoming very annoying.

Today's route included The Hill and that made for a tougher run but made it through utilizing the run/walk method. Took fuel but did not use and I did take water which I did use.

    Great run. I like the strategy you have there.

    Oh and get in there and do some ST. I also struggle with this, so I know where you are coming from. But you will regret extended breaks from it.

    Fabulous LAURIE! I love following your progress :) For my super long runs I opt for 1/2 bagel topped w/ peanut butter n banana slices an hour b4. Seems to give me just the right amt of protein n readily available carbs :)

    30 seconds is a pretty short walk for a long, slow run :-) You're a better (wo)man than I am. I don't think I could sustain 4/:30 on a long run.

    For long runs I stick with gels or chomps before and oatmeal after.
