Bumps on Life's Highway...

I last blogged on Sunday, Feb. 7th. The very next day, on my way home from work, I was in a car accident.

I had left school w/ the twins and we were headed home when a man turned in front of me and I hit him. Luckily there were no major injuries, however, my son did have contusions on his face. Oh....I cannot even tell you how horrible it felt to see him in so much pain. He was big and brave, but boy, did his face look rough :( This is him on day #3 - looking a lot better than the two previous days...

The weather just happened to cooperate, as the 2 days following the accident, we had off school due to a snow storm. It gave me time to nurse my son, go to Dr. appointments, and deal with insurance stuff. My son has now healed from the wounds...you can barely tell at all.

All is well again and life has continued on....the kids are back to piano lessons, cheer practices, and fighting over the Wii....it's all good :)

I'm very much ready for the arrival of spring. I need to get outdoors and expend some energy. I've got "winter butt" going on and it won't fit into my jeans - I need to exercise more LOL!! I've faltered a few days with my diet, but as always...I won't fret. Life's handed me some bumps lately and I'm riding through them - pretty well, if I do say so myself. Blessings to you all....
