This week our part of our challenge was to write a blog of the 5 things that motivate us. This was a mix of easy and hard. While I can list at least three things off the top of my head, the other two were kind of difficult to come up with. But this is what I came up with.
1.) For me the top motivator for me is HEALTH. In my family I have a history of heart disease, high blood pressure, and sugar diabetes just to name a few. I wanted to lessen my chances of these.
2.) My FAMILY is another. I couldn't imagine leaving my ten year old daughter and my husband just because I didn't want to eat right or exercise.
3.) I love the fact that I can look back so far and see what I have done for myself. So I guess it would be ACCOMPLISHMENTS.
4.) APPEARANCE is another motivator for me. I like to look in the mirror is my new clothes and I can finally feel good. I also like walking through the stores and saying " I can finally wear clothes like that now and look good."
5.) MONEY is another one. This isn't what it sounds like. lol. I actually get to save money because before I started to lose weight I was on three different meds that were quite expensive. Now I don't take any at all. Which is pretty dang good for me. =)
