Alriiiiight... it's March 1st, peeps! FINALLY!!! i'm so pumped. spring is coming, spring is coming!!! (i actually had to clean snow off my car at 6:20 this morning so i could get my bum to the gym... so thankful the roads were cleared! lol) but yea, lots of different things running through my mind. i was really looking forward to weighing in today, because i had jumped on the scale on thursday and it had said i was down to 150, and i was SO pumped, and i was like hell yea, i'm gonna start the month of march at 150! ... nope. the scale was a solid 151.5 this morning. could have something to do with crazy treat meal i had on saturday night, howeverrr... i did workout on satuday, and i also worked out yesterday.. did 90 min on the arc trainer (1235 cal) and trained shoulders... but here i am, march 1st, 151.5 ... i kind of 80% expected that i might not be at 150 because i was working so hard at it and wanting so badly to see it happen... but you know what you do? you don't let it get you down. you swallow it, and you get your butt to the gym, and you go HARD, and you stay on point with your nutrition... because you have a goal to meet, and nothing's going to get you down. you won't let it! i would also like to add that i realized something... back when i joined sparkpeople in feb 2008, i was 153, and it took me until aug 2008 to get down to 140. so that's 6 months to lose 13 pounds? that's ridiculous. i'm determined to get down to 140-143 by May 22nd. that's a personal goal right there. there's NO reason that i can't do it. i want to cut the time that it takes to reach goal weight. hard work, discipline, and staying focused... can't give up because the scale doesn't move, or because you tripped up on a couple meal choices.. i've been doing a ton of cardio, but this month i'm going to start focusing on my strength training a lil more... gonna build up these muscles and really watch what i'm eating... sure to see results. my body reacts really well to strength training, luckily! i am excited to set march on fiiiiire! 145 by april 1st. let's get it!!!!
