Sweating Is Not Easy

Does anyone have a problem with sweating? For some reason it takes me longer than normal to sweat. I know I drink enough water. It happens in the sauna too, I have to stay in a long time to get sweat started. But lately I have noticed that once I start that it seems that I sweat longer afterward. Just wondering if this is normal with anyone else or if it is just me.

I do like the feeling of finally sweating, I do it a lot when I get past 30 min. of the treadmill. But the other strange thing is now I find myself sweating at other strange times. Like when I am carrying groceries. I never use to, perhaps I am putting something more in it or something. Just thinking about this as I was doing my 60 min. on my treadmill. I did 4 miles. It some how helped my cold too I think. But my ears are really blocked from the cold. I had to sleep sitting up, I was coughing too much laying down, there was draining still going on. Sorry after I typed this I was wondering if I should have said that. Oh well I do share all with my family. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

    I sweat like a BIG dog.

    It's not pretty.

    When I get more fit, I will no longer sweat at the drop of a hat. Is perhaps this a symptom of you becoming more fit?

    Also some people's sweat glands are such that they don't sweat easily and/or at all. So it could be you. But since you said you didn't used to be that way, I don't think so.

    Draining and sleeping sitting or propped up . . . that's what I used to go through every Fall, and every Spring, before I found SinuFix capsules (not spray). Now I will not be without SinuFix, and the people who have left customer reviews feel the same way, at swansonvitamins.com and vitacost.com, and they both have cheap five dollar shipping. iherb.com carries the same but it costs more; if your order is a certain amount there is free shipping, but, you are paying for the shipping in the increased price.     It takes a lot to make me sweat too, except those times in the middle of the night when i seem to be having a hot flash or fever. It could be because I am dehydrated most of the time or just the nature of my body. I find that even when I am on the treadmill it takes a long time for me to sweat too. I would not worry about it. emoticon

    I usually sweat a lot when i am on stationary bike about 45 mins. I am dripping. emoticon Strength training about 10 mins. start sweating. But I feel good! emoticon

    I am one who doesn't sweat easily either. It takes quite a bit of heavy labor to actually get me going. They say it is really good to sweat, so I probably am not working as hard as I should . I can also relate to the cold. Have had the worst year this winter as far as sinus infections and problems with my asthma to the point of having to prop up to sleep also and several rounds of medication. Finally coming out of it and getting back to my workouts. I am impressed on the treadmill time. If you are working that hard at your fitness and drinking water, it is just your normal state I am sure. The sauna is probably the best bet to break a heavy sweat. Good luck

    So funny I ran across this blog today. I also don't sweat like the other people in my gym, we are all doing the same workout and yet they are dripping, and I am not. I have known this for a while, what I noticed just today was that while vaccuming my bedroom I was sweating like a freaking pig! Couldn't believe how much was coming out!

    I have always been one that doesn't sweat easy, always thought those sweating profusely must be working harder but, that isn't necessarily true. After reading your blog, well maybe some day I will start sweating more but not yet.

    I love what a good sweat does for my complexion!
    If you are sweating more than you used to, it may mean that your metabolism is really pumped up!
