I ran my first 10k on Saturday, finished in an 1:09:29 according to my Garmin, the "official" time is 1:10:something.. whatever.
Huge thanks to RUNNINGWILD for running every single step of the way with me, I can guarantee, that took 5 minutes off my race time in itself. There were so many time I wanted to run just a little slower or take a walk break and I just keep going because I knew she was there running with me.
Next up/goal 1:05:00 or even less than an hour would be super awesome. The 10k running clinic I was in officially ended last night, so I have a few weeks until the next 10k clinic, which I volunteered to pace/group lead.
After the 10k Race I went and donated blood for the first time in my life, it was an experience and oddly looking forward to doing it again.
Other than that, I'm still sucking at tracking, although slightly better than last month. I'm sucking at eating and some of the choices I'm making. I've only been hitting the gym once a week if I'm lucky.. but running 20-30 km a week should offset the negative on that.. if only just a little. I'm stressed for various reasons.. arg... oh well, the only thing I can think to do is try harder.. giving up is NOT an option!
Oh yeah.. and I haven't lost anything. Nothing.
