The "all of it or none of it" attitude is self destructive

Yesterday went okay. I would have liked to eat a little less but I didn't over do it when I went a little over. I don't know about you but when I diet and go over on my calories (or points) I have a tendency to say, "what the hell, I ruined today anyway" and binge the rest of the night. I did not do that yesterday. I finished a little high (around 1300 calories) but instead of using that as an excuse to eat , I was proud of the fact that I controlled that urge and only had a "Fiber One" chocolate peanut butter bar at 9pm. If nothing else, it shut up my tummy rumblings and added 9 grams of fiber to my day. Time and time again throughout my adult life I have succumb to this attitude and it certainly hasn't helped me. It's time to lose the "all of it or none of it" attitude for good.
