P90X Week Three Day 2

DANG I worked hard today! So much for this being an easy workout. Don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining and I brought it on myself. I'm still not losing weight, which has me very annoyed, so I bumped up my weights where I could and my reps everywhere. I literally pushed my muscles to exhaustion. If I still had more power in me, I paused the DVD and kept on going. I also did the bonus round again. By the time I got to it, I considered skipping it but since I'd done it both times before, I went for it. Then, ... it was time for Ab Ripper X. Holy crap! I wasn't sure I was going to make it through. I even hit pause and rested a couple times and skipped one of the exercises completely. Now I can't even remember which one it was. I was so glad to get to the end of it. I was soaked in sweat. My muscles were screaming at me and I would have liked nothing better than to crash right then and there. Unfortunately that was not an option.
Do you suppose maybe Tony was ticked at me because I stood him up yesterday and went for a bike ride instead. Do you suppose maybe he decided to teach me a lesson. Hmmmm..... I'd like to say "I'm sorry Tony. It won't happen again. " but when the weather is unseasonably warm, I've missed my morning workout due to time constraints and my bike is calling for me, it's hard to resist. What I will say is I will do my best to fit my routine in every morning whenever possible so I won't have to choose one over the other again, but that's the best I can do.
