Making a spectacle....

Saturday, March 20, 2010

So I've got glasses. Two pairs. actually, just for driving. Apparently I'm a little short sighted and I'm close to the limits they set for driving, so it seemed sensible to get them now.

I get them Tuesday....

I found another grey hair today.

I'll be 49 in two weeks....

    Paul - I like the new glasses. Makes you look very distinguished. Regarding the age - I just turned 50 recently and I am running faster than I ever have!

    I went for a eye test a couple of months ago, and found I was slightly short sighted, so I had a pair for reading in the evening,( I dont drive) other wise I'm fine, they really help me though, I was suprised how good they looked on, the staff suggested ones to try on, and picked a red rimmed pair, which I would never have chosen myself, I nearly didnt try them on, I have red hair and my mum always drilled into me red doesnt suit me, but they looked great. I was 48 in February, and have some white hairs coming through, I quite like them, I keep telling myself one day I will be a natural platinum blonde LOL.
    Best Wishes for your Birthday.

    If you get the right glasses they can make you look very attractive. Think of them not just as a necessity but as a fashion accessory!

    Age is nothing. Bet you dont feel any different when you get to 49 than you do now. loljavascript: void(0);
