Completed a 30 minute workout and still feel awful

Tuesday, March 23, 2010

I am a mom of 3 kids and finding time to do a workout is not very easy now but today I did a 30 minute walk tape and still am dragging. I am an asthmatic and having come coughing issues right now but they have never bother my workouts before. The tremendous weather changes also keep me with a headache so dealing with that as well. Just really pooped and don't really know why.

Advair is helping me with my breathing as I sing, my workouts are not that hard I guess! I feel soooo much better when i finish the workout now. I do remember when I started last year and walking 50 feet was a real painful experience, mainly the result of back surgery but also because I was so out of shape. I have walked 9 miles non-stop and could have gone on but was tired of the .4 mile loop. It takes time. Swimming will be a prospect soon.

By all means, talk to your Dr. I know you started a anti-depressant in Jan. Maybe it's not working. There are so many out there. But, please call your Dr.

My asthma is acting up too. I'm going to see my Dr. tomorrow am because I'm wheezing too. He'll probably give me a steroid shot as the oral meds aren't working at the moment.
Keep us informed on how you're doing.

Well, I know why! Go back and read sentence number ONE. You have THREE children. That alone taxes your body.

Do you ever check your blood pressure? When I was in my mid-thirties, I got so fatigued I had to concentrate to sit in the chair at work. I went to the doctor to have my iron and blood sugar checked, but they never got to those tests. They discovered that my blood pressure was extrememly high, and they thought I might have a stroke. If you are eating healthy and getting plenty of iron and vitamins, you could have high blood pressure or another medical condition that can be easily controled.

I hope you get more energy soon!
