hmmm.....some hope yet?

After I posted my blog below, I looked at other tracking (streaks, "other goals") and I saw 2 teams I'm on have goals of 10 min of cardio or 15 min on Wii Fit or 15 min exercise.

I thought "I can do that --- just 15 min - I have energy for that". Here I was thinking I had to do 30+ minutes. But maybe that's the answer. Maybe I start with 15 and see how I feel.

Hmmmm.......feeling more optimistic now. :)

    I've had colds that last about a month. No fun at all. Its especially no fun to work out with congestion, etc. Feel better and keep at the working out.

    WTG for feeling optimistic. I have found that with every change that needs to be made, it needs to be made in baby steps. Starting off with 10 min a day is way better then 0 min. a day. Then over time bump it up to 15 minutes or try 10 min. twice a day. It gets easier with time and consistency. I have found in the past that my lack of energy comes from a lack of exercise. In the beginning I had to force myself to get moving, but once I did my energy soared. Now I try to do some kind of exercise everyday, even if it is only for 10-20 min.

    Glad to hear you are starting to feel better. The last sinus cold I had knocked me out for about a week. The pain and headache from it was so bad I didn't want to even move. Luckily, I haven't had one like that since.
