Ok, so some of ya'll ask me what I eat. So, here's a pic I took of my dinner I had tonight. It's my version of a chicken fajita.
I used a low-fat, low-cal soft taco shell. I roasted my veggies in 1 tbsp of olive oil and 1 tbsp of Lipton Onion Soup Mix @425 degrees for about 20 minutes. 3 oz of chicken fajita meat. I topped it with Pace. This is so good you won't miss the cheese, sour cream and guacamole, i promise! I made several servings of veggies, so I can pack and take my food to work for my lunches.
I totaled all the ingredients and I came up with almost 300 cal. 5 carb and 23 protein .. Pretty dam good! And yummy too!
Sometimes I want pizza and I want it now, so for me to portion control it, I buy the Smart Ones pizza, put it on a salad plate and slice it. Lately tho, I found Degorno 200 calorie pizza and it's pretty good, especially if I add some of my aforementioned roasted veggies on it. yumyum! I add these veggies to alot of stuffs!!
Alot of times for breakfast or a desert I have a delicious treat. I put Yoplait Light Thick and Creamy strawberry or peach or vanilla yogurt in a pretty bowl and cut up strawberries or peaches or blueberries on top of the yogurt. squirt some Ready Whip, SF chocolate syrup or a few chocolate chips with a sprinkle of dry oatmeal all over.. YUM! You talk about good!!
When I go out to eat, I try very hard to order the right things but things that are still very good and decadant! I let never let myself feel deprived. Here's what I had at Logan's roadhouse a while back. These prawns rocked and so did the veggie kabobs!
Here's what I have for breakfast sometimes. 1 Thomas Whole grain english muffin 120 cals, 2 tbsp Philly cream cheese 90 cals, 1 tbsp ginger fig preserves 45 cals. Ttl 255 cals. Filling and good :)
