The Value of a Supportive "Family
Friday, November 03, 2006
My family doesn't hold me accountable, because they just love me the way I am. So even if I were to tell them, that they need to help me watch out to stay away from chocolate, and remind me that a second helping is not really in my best interest, they wouldn't because they wouldn't want to hurt my feelings. So I have come up with a different game plan. I am my own best cheerleader, and I get really excited about getting fit and my nutritional accomplishments. My commitment and happiness about my progress is so encourageing to THEM, that they have actually started walking with me, choosing more nutritious foods, and drinking their water. I guess I am their support system, and in return, they help me by making me realize, that I am their role model.
